
Policy for Use of Glenrochie Country Club
Pool Facilities by Members
Guest Policy
All guests must be registered with a lifeguard upon entrance to the pool.
Each guest is limited to 6 visits per season to the pool. There will be a
$5.00 fee for all guests, charged to the accompanied members account.
Rules
- The lifeguards have the authority to take any measure necessary to insure
the safety of members and protect Club property. Repeated offenses will
result in suspension from pool facilities for a period of time recommended by
the Pool Manager and formal action from the Board.
- Children under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a person 12 years
old or older at all times. Please do not ask or expect the lifeguard to
watch your children while you play golf or tennis.
- No running, pushing, or horseplay will be permitted in or around the pool
area.
- Dunking is not permitted.
- No floating devices n the deep end. Children wearing floating
devices in the deep end must be accompanied by an adult.
- Only one person on the diving board at a time.
- No hanging on the ropes.
- The wading pool is restricted to children 5 years old and younger.
- No food of any kind will be allowed out from the under the shelter.
- Tables under the shelter should be kept clear of towels and debris.
- Absolutely no glass containers are allowed in the pool area.
- Ashtrays must be used at all times when smoking. Ashtrays are available at
the lifeguard stand upon request.
- No one is allowed in the pool office expect pool personnel.
- Telephone calls are limited to three minutes. Long distance calls
are prohibited.
- Do not park in the handicap parking space unless you have a handicap tag
or sticker.
- Please be aware of and yield to pedestrians on Club property.
- Loitering in and around the pool parking lot after pool hours will be
considered trespassing. Violators will be prosecuted.
- No pool furniture is to be taken outside pool gates.
- Everyone shall sign in when entering the pool.
- Each day the whistle will be blown 10 minutes before closing. Anyone
in the pool must then get out and prepare to leave the pool area.
- All children need to be picked up by closing time.
- Any signs of a thunderstorm will result in the pool being cleared
immediately. Please trust the lifeguards' judgment regarding re-entry into the
pool. The pool will be closed if bad weather conditions are persistent.
Please make arrangements to have your children picked up.
- Appropriate swimwear is required upon entrance to the pool.
- Parents with children being accompanied to the pool by a babysitter must
call the pool and notify a lifeguard in advance. There is a $1.00 charge
for non-member babysitters.
It is the member's responsibility to enforce the pool rules.
If you have any complaints about the pool operation or the lifeguards they
must be in writing, signed and dated by an adult paying member. These
should be given to the Pool Manager and/or General Manager.
